Government Contract Specialist

Viceroy NM is seeking a Government Contract Specialist to support end-to-end preparation, coordination, and submission of government bids and proposal packages. This role is critical to ensuring procurement activities are executed with precision and full compliance.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

Pipeline Management

Monitor SAM.gov, GovWin, agency forecast lists, and national laboratory procurement portals. Maintain a structured pipeline of opportunities, deadlines, and go/no-go decisions.

Bid & Proposal Preparation

Draft, compile, and submit responses to RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs including technical volumes, pricing sheets, past performance narratives, and certifications.

National Lab Engagement

Support relationships with Sandia National Laboratories, LANL, and others. Navigate lab-specific procurement systems and vendor registration.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure all proposals comply with FAR/DFARS and agency-specific requirements. Maintain organized records of submissions, awards, and correspondence.

Post-Award Support

Support contract execution — invoicing, deliverable tracking, modification requests, and period-of-performance management.

Qualifications

What we're looking for

Required

Strong written communication and attention to detail. Ability to interpret government documentation. Excellent organizational skills. Proficiency with Word, Excel, PDFs. U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred

Experience with government contracting or compliance. Familiarity with FAR/DFARS clauses, NAICS codes. Experience with SAM.gov, FedConnect, NASA SEWP, or similar portals.
